Cat Call’s Guide to Finding a Brooklyn Veterinarian
Make sure your cat sticks around for all 9 of its lives by establishing a trusted relationship with a Brooklyn veterinarian early on. It’s especially important in advance of any health issues or medical emergencies (chocolate, anyone?). And although it might be easy to choose a veterinarian simply based on location, before you choose there are a few things you should consider before making your decision.
1) Is the facility clean, comfortable and well-organized?
2) Is the staff caring, calm, competent and courteous, and do they communicate effectively?
3) Which emergency services are available?
The Humane Society has put together a full list of questions in their article titled Choosing a Veterinarian.
And once you do decide on a veterinarian, be sure to let your pet sitter know where to take your cat in case of an emergency while you’re away.
So without further adieu, below is Cat Call’s official Brooklyn Veterinarian neighborhood guide!
